We are expanding and the Macropay team needs a Technical Project Manager to work closely with our tech team.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to work alongside our tech team in order to lead and coordinate multiple projects across various domains at Macropay. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in project delivery and management, overseeing project lifecycles, ensuring successful releases, and managing project roadmaps, including daily ceremonies and team meetings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
- Execute projects according to the defined project plan, ensuring alignment with business goals and client requirements.
2. Delivery Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Drive planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, and other daily ceremonies to maintain project momentum and productivity.
3. Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and ensuring project transparency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify project risks and proactively develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential project disruptions.
- Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Project Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track project progress, deliverables, and resource utilization, providing regular status reports to stakeholders and management.
- Monitor project performance against KPIs and take corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
6. Release Management:
- Coordinate and manage release cycles, ensuring smooth and timely deployments while minimizing system downtime and impact on end-users.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to plan and execute release activities efficiently.
7. Roadmap Planning and Daily Team Meetings:
- Contribute to the development and refinement of project roadmaps, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.
- Conduct daily ceremonies and meetings with the team to facilitate release management, roadmap planning, and delivery, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in a fintech or similar industry.
- Strong understanding of back-end technologies (PHP – Laravel/Lumen), front-end technologies (React), and AWS infrastructure.
- Experience in agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
